DO NOT use a Ballistic Tip in a .308 unless gigantic holes all the way thru your deer don't bother you. If you don't want that, use one of the standard moose bullets already recommended so that you will get a small hole all the way thru the deer.
.,...x2 yep can't understand why I keep shooting ballistics when they make such explosive holes that I'm getting rusty on my tracking skills...Umm cause they a'nt any tracking...lol
