The problem with sumter is you have a ton of out of staters that come in and wipe out the population. I leased some land down there last year by CC along the river and you would think you could see a ton of deer ever time you went out. That was not the case. Some La boys had leased it the year before we did and we were lucky to see 4 deer on a field at one time. Just go to a local processor down there and you will see them loading up 8 coolers at a time and bringing in 50 pound babies.
