Just like anything else if I break the law its on me for not knowing it. I would never do something just because I read it on a forum. What ever happened to researching things.

Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

They learned how to live there and made it their home. It would have been hard for them to learn how to live anywhere else.

arKic and Skinny are right. Don't do no diggin' or pickin' up or rakin' or anything on TVA or riverbank lands. And 'specially no dead Indian graves.

I have a feeling that if we knew how many Native Americans there truly were that the numbers would be amazing. I figure that our ancestors carried out the largest act of genocide in history.

We have found quite a bit of artifacts in our fields after we plow. All of the land is surrounded by a creek that flows into the Alabama river.

We have one field we call the arra head field. Very little clay mostly sandy dirt. We have found some flat and perfectly round rocks in this field also.

Whenever we plow we have the wives and my hunting buddys kids there looking over the fields to see what we can find. Its a lot of fun.

You had better not get caught picking up artifacts on any TVA lands. Stiff fines.

It was a joke, notice the smiley smile I do some stupid stuff sometimes, but that is just asking for it.

Posted before I read the whole thread. LOL Artifact hunting is almost as much fun as deer hunting, but DH wins out.

Don't you read aldeer? The earth is only a little over a hundred years old. Any "history" before that is propaganda that is being taught to us by evil scientists.

Speaking of which, seriously Skinny, have you changed your mind about a religion forum? That "dinosaurs are alive and well in Africa" bullschit was an Aldeer low. You can say "if you don't like it don't read it, but damn, it's getting to where it's hard to avoid in the General forum.

I don't think it's illegal to pick artifacts up off the surface... Definitely no digging .
