A guy hunting with us forty years ago tried to cut the throat of a shot spike. He had on carhart coveralls before the fracas, had some kind of tattered mess on afterwards. He was cut and bruised all over. I learned to "waste" a shell that day.....
I once had a five year old buck with cut antlers knock me down and stomp my ass good. I couldn't stand and thought my left leg was broken. If it hadn't been for my wife and a friend I would of taken a monumental ass whoopin.....as was I limped for several days and had some good cuts and abrasions. Anyone who thinks they can whoop a mature buck barehanded is an idiot.
back in the day i have . course daddy used to put me in the pen with 25o lbs yearlin to cut or banned . nuts be so big have to put them through the bander one at a time . body follows the head . lol
and damn i hated hog cutting time .
