Lots of great info already listed; you're gonna have to get what makes you happy. The big 3 manufacturers are always in the diesel race and always looking to improve, some faster than others; again, what makes you happy. I've owen to F250s, one 7.3 and one 6.0; used to make me nervous with the 6.0 to see similar models with major work having to be done and see the entire body suspended above the frame at the dealership to work on em. Don't know if that's still the case. I now drive a Cummins. Ford changes their engines way too often , but looks like they have a winner with this 6.7; HOWEVER: go lift the top up on one of their commercial 650-750 and lookey what you see behind that there blue oval: :::::::::::::::::::::: A CUMMINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
