3rd Annual Brad Powe Memorial Hog Rodeo is Sept 4 - 7 in Camden. Brochure is located on the website at www.wilcoxwebworks.com/bp Can compete in dog, stalk, or trapping division. On Saturday evening starting at 4pm we will have muscial entertainment by Camilla Tutt, Jess Meuse and other acts to be announced soon. We will have a big southern spread of food and cap it off with a showing of Scentblocker's The Chase's hog show filmed at last year's event, busting 13 hogs with muzzleloaders. We invite everyone to come to the Saturday evening event, whether you hunt or not. It is a great family affair to celebrate our hunting traditions and remember a good man gone and raise a little money for the scholarship in his memory. If you happen to attend the Covinggton Outdoor Expo, look for our booth!

Are you allowed to bring the hogs in anytime during the contest? Sort of reads like you have to bring them all in on the last day.

You can weigh them in every day. On Wednesday, Thurs, and Friday the scales are open from 7am to 10pm. On Saturday they are open from 7am until the final cut off at noon.

You got that right, especially in this heat. Wes Moore from Alligator Alley in Summerdale will be running a trailer from the weigh in site back to his gator farm every day, taking any unwanted pigs back for gator meat. We usually donate 75+ to his operation. Takes a lot of meat to feed 300 gators.

All teams are responsible for having their own lands. Wish we could line that up so more could join in, but that gets into more than we can be esponsible for.
Elkhunter, There are going to be some gators thanking you! Alligator Alley is really a nice place and kids love it. I was very impressed with what Wes had done there.
