The other topic on alcohol made me think of a discussion we had at work a few weeks ago on the subject of divorce and getting married again. Thought I would see what everyone's opinion on that subject is.
Matthew 5:32
But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.
Matthew 19:9
I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery.
1 Corinthians 7:10-11 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.
Those passages pretty much sum up my opinion on the subject.
So what does that make a man that's been divorced twice but asks god to forgive him of his sins everyday? A double adulterer..... according to the scripture... So you gonna be the one to cast the first stone? Nope... just going by the above quoted scripture....But if you need a good whacking.... Glad you can find humor in someones salvation or perhaps lack of. I only know of one man that was without sin. And I as well.....Nowhere did I say I, You, or anyone else was perfect. I was simply quoting this...

What does divorce have to do with salvation anyway... unless you are a habitual cheater.... then you may have some issues...
