I find this thread interesting as i spend many hours on interstates during a week's time. I fly a lot too and i know as most of you do that driving is more dangerous.

In my attempt to get home safely to my family, when in Rome be Roman, If I am in Atlanta or Birmingham the safe thing to do is drive with the flow of traffic. So if it's 80 than so be it.

I can stereotype the left hand drivers but won't. I will tell you that the most dangerous animal on the planet is not in Africa, It is here on I65 and mostly a young male or female with a cell phone.

One of my pet peeves is 18 wheelers and common courtesy, I am the guy that slows down and flashes lights to let them take left lane. I have just seen too many of them decide to come on out anyway with the size matters deal. Not that its just truck drivers. Anytime I can ride in right lane, thats where i am but if I am in left lane I drive with the flow of traffic.

Oh well, I say a prayer every time I buckle up, and try not to take highway life for granted.
