People that routinely ride in the left lane and aren't passing anyone are arses. If you take offense to that good. You impede traffic and cause road rage by being inconsiderate of others. If you're not passing someone or very close to your turn off there is no reason to be in the left lane. Other than being an arse.
Double Oak Mountain on 280 is congested as hell because of drivers like that. I routinely leave 10 minutes behind my wife and stay in the right lane, I pass her from the right lane before crossing the mountain. Because arses all tie up the left lane. Because of their inconsideration they cause traffic slow downs and a lot of road rage that wouldn't otherwise be there.
I know of tickets being issued for driving slower than speed limit in the left lane. It's happened recently. However, even if you are driving at speed limit you should be courteous and move to the right lane unless you're passing someone.
It's a lazy way of driving that is indicative of lazy Americans me first attitudes.
Ya'll pardon me being blunt. I'm operating on about 4 hours sleep the last 48 hours and not inclined to sugar coat.
