Skullworks, I didn't say anything about the law. If you are doing 75 and everyone else is doing 80 then...you...are...the...slow...traffic. wink ... and you are within the law to stay in the left lane at 70 or as otherwise allowed by law. wink wink Yes...but you are violating the law of common sense unless you enjoy being a jackass. If you KNOW you are the slow traffic and continue to stay in the left lane you are simply being a jackass and creating a dangerous situation. IMO. Don't even get me started on 18 wheelers getting side by side going up hills or changing lanes like they are in a VW.

I always do the speed limit or 5-10 miles over the speed limit in the left lane and will move over unless you come flying up on me acting like a wack job then I will ride the left lane as far as I like.

You put lights and siren behind them and alot of them just stop in the middle of the lane. thru this^^^^^^ I learned early in Jefferson Co if I need to get somewhere in a hurry(on a call or assistance) NOT to turn the lights on. Dumbsobs on the interstates will slam on the brakes and stop IN the travel lane.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

People get killed when speeding aggresive drivers are weaving all over the road not by people staying in one lane driving the speed limit How often do you drive the interstate? LOL! I've seen more traffic problems created by slow drivers than fast drivers myself. I don't want to prove a point bad enough to create an accident that can kill people myself but feel free to carry on.

I usually drive left lane at 70-78mph. I get over when safe, for faster cars. But there are a lot of crazy fast folks that drive 80-100 and are usually weaving across all three lanes to get going. 20 year old white girls are crazy fast drivers, esp in the rain.
When I was working I wrote speeding tickets when I was using the interstate to get somewhere, cut off for me was 90mph. I still wrote a lot of tickets. Fastest for me was a BMW in a construction area at 120mph...in a 60mph lane....and he had a CDL. Idiot.

People that routinely ride in the left lane and aren't passing anyone are arses. If you take offense to that good. You impede traffic and cause road rage by being inconsiderate of others. If you're not passing someone or very close to your turn off there is no reason to be in the left lane. Other than being an arse.
Double Oak Mountain on 280 is congested as hell because of drivers like that. I routinely leave 10 minutes behind my wife and stay in the right lane, I pass her from the right lane before crossing the mountain. Because arses all tie up the left lane. Because of their inconsideration they cause traffic slow downs and a lot of road rage that wouldn't otherwise be there.
I know of tickets being issued for driving slower than speed limit in the left lane. It's happened recently. However, even if you are driving at speed limit you should be courteous and move to the right lane unless you're passing someone.
It's a lazy way of driving that is indicative of lazy Americans me first attitudes.
Ya'll pardon me being blunt. I'm operating on about 4 hours sleep the last 48 hours and not inclined to sugar coat.

Road rage is stupid, you are driving a car, you will get to where ever you are going when you get there. If you choose to have road rage that is your choice not mine, if you are constantly late and have to speed leave earlier. I can drive the speed limit in any lane I like and if I am going 80 in the hammer lane don't ride my but it is not gonna make me go any faster and only makes you look like an impatient prick. With that said I always move over as soon as I am done passing and can do so safely so faster vehicles can go on there way. But lack of preperation and punctuality on your part is not my problem. Thanks for fixing above post skullworks. I have enjoyed this post and it ia now 530 so some of you are probabally cussing the driver in front of you at this time, take it easy .
