1440 acres in Dallas County is looking for one turkey only membership in a deer and turkey hunting club. Cost is $1300 for 2014 season. Please message me if you are interested and I will provide you details.

Is the $1300 price for sole turkey rights or will the deer members be turkey hunting too?

There will be 3 others that will have turkey rights. They are full members. Turkey membership is half price, expensive but looking for a good turkey only membership.

I'm sorry 3 others that turkey hunt. Total of nine full members but as of now only 3 turkey hunt. That number could change but we are full on a deer/turkey memberships.

Yes the 3 were in the club last year. One turkey was killed. Between the 3 of us we probably only hunted 8-10 times due to coaching spring travel baseball. Basically no pressure on our lease. Our new full member may hunt turkeys but not sure. 3-5 hunters on 1440 acres is not to bad. All the turkey hunters are not real serious, we would like to be but are not. Only one lives local the others live about an hour away.

IMO, that's pretty steep for turkey only membership on 1440 acres shared with 3 others. Especially when going turkey lease rate is about $1-$1.50/acre for an entire tract. I've never paid more than $1/acre for turkey rights and I prefer at least 500 acres per turkey hunter.

Is the money firm? Turkey season is just 45 days or so and you can hunt deer over 3 month. Half doesnt sound fair but it is your club. I could be interested at a cheaper price and if i like the land would hand you the money on the spot

I have a win win idea where everyone will be happy. I will hunt the place this spring and pay you $100 for each bird taken. I will report all hunts on here so everyone will know how good the place is and next year you should have people begging you to hunt it. It's the least I can do for a fellow aldeer member. I'll pmm you my address so you can send me a key to the gate.

I would also be interested at a cheaper price if Watchemflop doesn't take the membership. Let me know what's the best your president can do. I would hunt the property no more than 10 times per season due to my work schedule and other properties.
