Busted this one yesterday @70yds with a DPMS LR-308 and Trijicon Acog/RMR combo with BDC. Bullet was 150gr Federal soft point and performed well. One shot at 11 degrees downward angle into heart and lungs, pig never moved. Approx 150lbs or at least that's what my back felt like loading it into the truck.

She had about 8 little ones with her.. There are at least two more her size with piglets too..
I wonder if one of the other females will allow the dead mother's piglets to suckle or if they are on their own?

You need to get you a Knight and Hale grunt call and start calling those little ones back up and kill them as well.

You need to get you a Knight and Hale grunt call and start calling those little ones back up and kill them as well. Every time I have killed a solo female the piglets come back within 5 minutes to get whacked. If there are other females around they won't come back out, always thought it was odd.
