Read Carefully - These rules will do for now, most of ya'll have read the old rules and know the deal. So these will get us buy till I can get them back to how they were...
This thread is for contest entries ONLY. Please no discussions or anything unrelated to an entry...
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ENTERING A DEER
To submit an entry a participant must include in THIS THREAD
1. Your screen name
2. If applicable, the number of tines that are longer than 1 inch (main beam counts).
3. All required pictures (see below)
CAPES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
REQUIRED PHOTOS
The photo must show at least the entire front half of the deer or more showing the head attached to the body. Skull plates, mounts, or caped out deer will not be accepted! You may have one of two ways to enter your deer. A picture of yourself with the above requirements or some of us that hunt alone may take a picture of the deer with SOMETHING (Paper plate/Piece of paper/Newspaper with the date readable) with the date and team name or number.
ADDITIONAL PHOTOS ARE REQUIRED.
If the first photo does not show all scoreable points, additional photos showing those points are required. If 1 inch tine length is questionable please supply a photo with a measurement against the tine for verification.
NOTES:
The number one item people miss is the paper with the date. Keep a pen or marker in your pack with paper. I use a zip lock bag to keep the paper dry. Take plenty of pictures. Nearly all issues are resolved with GOOD pictures.
Points are as follows : 5 points for a DEER - 1 additional point for each tine over 1"
5 Bonus points will be awarded to the team that each members kills and enters a doe.
