I'm not going to argue either especially about the way to break in a glove. I actually didn't say catching was the main way but catching along with working it with your hand which is where the little oil comes into play. Somehow the oil part did get left out. I type on a lap top and sometimes hit the pad and it messes me up and I've typed stuff all in the wrong place and by the time I delete stuff where I didn't mean to put it I forget to put it back in but I thought I had put something about putting a little oil but its not in my post so something happened. The reason that I mentioned folding under a bed is because it can put a crease. The other methods don't crease one as bad as leaving it between something for an extended period. You see a lot of gloves like like that especially youth gloves. Some how this actually happened to one of the gloves I used in high school. I don't know if I did it or my dad did but it ruined it. It messed up the pocket so when I had the glove in a normal fielding position it had the glove in an angle where balls were more out to hit me in the palm than the pocket. Or maybe the problem was I just wasn't a good fielder
