I have had this jeep for 9 yrs come May. Over that time lots of parts have been replaced including: rebuilt rear end, brakes, new stainless extended brake lines, painless wiring harness, wheel bearings, floorboards, seats, roll cage, gauges, lots of engine parts, rebuilt tranny. It now sits on 2.5 in skyjacker springs with 1/2 in over stock shackles.The 304 V8 is stock with 2 barrel carb and cast exhaust manifolds. It has a T-15 3 speed tranny, Dana 20 transfer case , Dana 30 front differential and a Dana 44 rear. It has 3.73 gears and it pushes the 33 in tires on it well and will climb a tree with 31 in tires.
What does the jeep need? Here it is...the water pump started leaking just this past Monday when you shut it off, needs a new gas tank, full top is in fair shape( it will keep you dry) needs zippers replaced on back and some buttons need replaced.
This is not a show jeep in no way. I built it to use and it has done me well in the woods as a hunting rig. Understand this is still 40yr old vehicle.
