Forgot about this one. Makes me shiver just thinkin about it again. Grandma use to make me and a couple cousins straighten out the melon vines and hoe all the weeds out. Grandma loved her watermelons and she would plant several acres of them. She loved them so much...that she didn't want any weeds stealing nutrients from them. Lining up thousands of melon vines for hoeing absolutely sucked. Zero pay, by the way.
