Went last night....it was a LOT warmer for a change!!! We added 3 more to the list; 84 now. I feel certain the dogs killed a couple of more pigs in some cutovers. But, we never got to them, so can't count em. The hogs ran bad last night. Got on the last one at 10:00 and finally got him caught killed at 1:15 after walking to them twice over 1/2 mile both times due to water. We found Speck bayed the 1st time and walked all the way in to within 100yds and sent Rooster. Somehow, he missed and they ran about 1 mile, swam a lake and wound up caught on the other side. We had to go all the way back to the Ranger and then drive around. Got about 1/2 mile and had to walk in. Ol' Rooster had run with him and it was a pretty ugly sight when we got there..... He was probably over 200lbs, but not much teeth....thank goodness! He had poked holes all in Speck and Rooster! But, Ol' Rooster is a pretty tough sumbuck and had managed to hang on and had pulled him down by the time we got there. Still had to send Petey in for backup. But, it was a done deal. Those pics ain't 'internet-suitable'! But, here was the 1st one of the night:

Had a guy from IL along with us on his 1st hog hunting trip. He was mighty excited to be taking some 'wild-hog meat' home with him!
