Any of you guys drive the GMC/Chevy 1500hd? I'm in the market for a second vehicle (crew cab 4x4 only), and I NEED a truck bad. The wife and I are wanting to buy a nice pontoon, so I'm looking at 3/4 trucks. I really want a 2500hd with the 6.0 or 8.1. I'm not even considering a diesel since I won't be driving it very much. I have a small car to drive daily.
I thought these trucks were kinda rare, but they keep "falling" in my lap" so to speak. Good prices. Good mileage.
For those with these trucks...I know the tow ratings are pretty close to the 2500hd. But any issues with towing with the 1500hd? The pontoon would be the biggest thing I tow. It's probably 30ft with a sundeck on it.
