here's a scouting report from marengo co, south west, al. heard one bird around 6:25. found several gobbler tracks on road but with no rain in almost 9 days, they are not walking the roads. pulled 3 cameras and one patch had 2 groups of birds. 6 jakes and the other was 4 birds w/8" beards. i think it may be a little later in the season before they get fired up due to the colder weather in february. will get 3 days in next weekend, report later.
