No offense to those that have them, but I hate rat dogs with a passion. The worst one is my mother in laws. That friggin piece of shat won't shut up, jumps on everything, and overall just pisses me off.
Love my two Siberian Huskies though! (my vacuum doesn't though....)

We have a beagle that's pretty high on the cool list. She's a 9" and runt of the litter to boot. She's crate trained and hates going out on cold mornings. Her bed time is 9:00 and she will put herself in the crate.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...

My two Siberians are outside dogs...I've tried them inside before, but they just prefer outdoors. Both are getting old, now...11 and 12 years old. The 12 year old is a Siberian/Timber Wolf cross. Great dogs, real smart, but our two (non-shedding!) Standard Poodles are the inside dogs...can't confuse them with "small dogs" though...50 lbs apiece!
Well behaved women never make history.~ Out back Quit laughing...I think I broke something.
Fifteen is my limit on Schnitzen-Gruben, Baby...
I have OCD and ADD, so everything has to be perfect, but only for a minute.

This was my wife's maltese, Sugar[I called her Cujo half the time]. She was super smart and had tons of heart. She weighed 2 3/4 lbs but would take on ANY dog that she thought was a threat. If you would let her lay in your lap, you had a genuine friend. We have always had dogs and of all sizes, but this one was special. She was born with a severe cleft palate and had severe seizures quite often. 2 different vets said that she would not live till her eyes opened, much less till aldulthood. Lissa refused to believe that and she made it a point that as long as this little dog would fight for life she would do all she could for her. Well, she turned out to be a fighter. There was many sleepless nights on my wifes part, and to many visits to the vet to count on all of my fingers and toes. I'm sure Dr. Adams could have added a room or two to his house for what we spent on vet bills and medicine, but we didn't mind a bit. Her health issues finally caught up with her when she was nine years old [last year]. My wife and I both cried like like we had lost a family member. [img:center] [/img]

The problem with those annoying small dogs is that they usually live a really long time.

Skinny...small and annoying...maybe...but some of us like them. My 2 are buddies...always glad to see me. Theyre house broken...they'd give their lives to protect my wife and kids if I wasnt here...even though they aint big, but theyre a deterrent / alarm system. I know some old folks whose kids never come to see them...their ankle biters are all they have for company.
Get you a mini Schnauzer...funnest dogs Ive ever had...

Yep, all mine are expected to live 14-17 years. Wonder why the small ones live longer than most large breeds? Easier life maybe?

My two little min pins, Minnie and Satchie. They have more personality than any dog I have ever owned. They provide a ton of entertainment just watching them interact with each other. The larger one, only 7lbs thinks she is a full grown doberman. The other one is just a little sweetheart.

We have had 4 min pins 3 reds and one blk/tan. The first one was by far the best and just happened to be the only male min pin we have ever had. I've had large breeds as well (1 rottweiler, 2 standards dobermans, and 1 yellow lab.) All just incrediable dogs (except one standard doberman who was WHACKED and dumb as a box of rocks). All graduated the (CGC) canine good citizenship, and (Spencer the male min pin) and I competed in the agility course (where they run through hoops, chutes, and teeter totter on see saws and what not. Don't laugh it was fun for both of us. Doesn't matter small or large breeds it starts with training and spending time with them consistently to get the results you expect.
NOW is the time for all GOOD men to come to the aid of their country.
