Over the last two months mine has been over $100 higher than normal, and it hasn't really been that cold! I wondering if there's something wron with my heat pump?

I'm with Joe Wheeler but mine was high last month but it generally is this time of year. Have you compared it to last years bill for the same month?

Mine was 406$ last month and it was in the sixties some weeks! It was a bummer. But it is what it is

Heat strips cause my winter bill to be as high as my summer bill. We try to stretch spring/fall out as long as possible before cranking up the cooling/heat.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

Mines been about 200 lower. It was around 500 and now running about 300.

I do the budget billing where they average the bill out over the course of the year and thats what you pay per month. $192/month for me. But I'm sure that it'll bite me in the ass later after rates have gone up and I kept paying the 192 and all of a sudden get a huge bill......

Y'all, based on a Birmingham news article , Alabama Power and Alabama Gas and Mobile Gas is charging more than they should based on neighboring states rates. Your elected PSC will not look in to it. Politics? And I had a $842.00 Electric and Gas bill last month. One person home.2500 sq. feet.

I do budget billing.. Started out at $154.. Now it's at $192.. We use less according to bill but price is higher. No competition for al power
