Every peice of property varies. I personally dont care to hunt a greenfield by itself or shoot does of it but thats not saying I havent done it or wont again. I prefer to hunt creeks, trails, fence lines and open hardwoods.
Most of the urban hunters Ive hunted around at clubs of today dont know how to hunt the deep woods and find deer successfully and then some of us just get lazy and create these rules for not killing does of fields so that bucks will follow them out and we can pop em that way since you seldom see the big boys on greenfields during daylight hours. In my opinion thats why most of these clubs have created these rules, not to mention poorly managed pine plantations on timber land that eliminate alternate hunting in many ways. Just my two cents.
