How can we come up with a prize for the winning team, other than just bragging rights? Seems like any contest needs to have something on the line...cash, prize, new turkey call, trophy, etc.

Seems like any contest needs to have something on the line...cash, prize, new turkey call, trophy, etc. Seems like if there is anything at stake, then it just gets too serious with the accusations of cheating, verifying that each measurement/weight is correct, etc. The main "prize" in the aldeer contest is that you get to talk lots of trash. That's my favorite part.

No i told her i was gonna be turkey huntin this year and every dang year from here on out She didnt say much But reason i asked is i got to round up a shotgun if im gonna join a team. All i have rite now is a bow and a prestine double barrel 12 ga. But it most def aint goin in the woods. Way to good of shape to be scratchin it up

Yeah i just wanna new gun. Wouldnt care to scratch it up. My double barrel was my grandfathers. Its fully restored. So its def not goin in the turkey woods. And im gonna buy a gun regaurdless. But no havnt run the new gun by her yet  Somebody said better to ask forgiveness than permission. Gonna give that a shot
