If I ever shoot a deer like that, I'm going to tell about five different stories ranging from an early morning bow hunt to jacklighting over a corn pile with a crossbow tipped with a poison pod.
Cover the bases, so to speak. Tell a different story to every person out there. That way I'll be ahead of the curve and then refute anything and everything.
