Are the CO's for that county worth a damn? Seems they would have already been on this case.
If the COs didn't see him shoot it or have someone step forward that did, I'm bettin' no case will be made against the hunter.
As much controversy as there is you would think they would be asking questions, interviewing friends, possibly confiscating the cape while it was at the taxidermist until they completed the investigation. They don't have to have anyone step forward to do a thorough investigation.
Surely they are looking into it. I bet they could confiscate the mount. But without someone willing to sing, it can be very tough to make a case like this. Our ol' buddy Troy can probably back me up on this. I think the COs want a slam dunk.
