Thanks Uncle Mikes Taxidermy for the quick and great job on mounting the deer. It looks great and also would like to say I am proud of my fianc� on this kill! Well, we've heard one side of the story here, maybe you could post a brief description of how the hunt took place. Seems you're either here to stir the pot or defend your man let's hear the other side. There will be no "other side"....... rest assure....... the gate will always be open on this....

My vote is stir the pot..I got a pm from her last night telling me I was pretty sorry for calling her fiance a pos and for saying he needed his ass whooped.Pretty much let me know he killed it illegally cause I only said in the post she referred to IF he killed it illegally he is a pos and needs his ass whooped.If it was a legal kill then the pos comment I made didn't apply to him therefore there was no reason to defend him.

Actually, I have been keeping quiet.....
BUT, I do have a couple of mutual friends with him and his buddies.
They just laughed when I asked if it was a legal kill.
SO, she better start by kicking all his buddies a$$es first before taking it on the road!

Are the CO's for that county worth a damn? Seems they would have already been on this case.

The time stamped pics will settle it all. He's saying he shot it in the morning and didn't recover it until that afternoon and was showing it off by 6pm. I'll admit I'm wrong along with everyone else when I see the pics. After that, I hope this mess goes away. This is ridiculous.
This is Aldeer! The place people come to vent their frustrations and completely change their stance a few minutes later...

It must suck having a pen!s so small that you have to shoot a trophy buck illegally and get a rush mount job on him just to satisfy your insecurities. Not saying that applies here, just a general statement for a rainy Tuesday morning

What are you all saying made this an illegal kill since you all are so sure that it was - spotlighting? poaching? Do tell us how he killed it illegally.

As much controversy as there is you would think they would be asking questions, interviewing friends, possibly confiscating the cape while it was at the taxidermist until they completed the investigation. They don't have to have anyone step forward to do a thorough investigation.
