WHEW!!!! I'm exhausted after reading! I know this: I know Hellfighter from Hoover and without doubt, Hellfighter is one of the most ethical, honest and straight-up individuals I have ever met. So, with that said, I believe Hellfighter!

It's really too bad what has happened. I do hope anyone who shoots an illegal deer, pays an enormous price and if his or her job is involved in the illegal kill, losing that job is justified.

Thanks Rich. That means alot!
Nothing new out. Like I said before, it probably will not ever come out as rock solid evidence (for most people) that this deer was killed illegally. Unless they were dumb enough to YouTube it or something like that, but getting caught (again for a couple of them) is very likely.

Y'all make it out like the guy raped somebody, when nobody has any evidence of anything. So and so said this and this picture looks funny his eyes don't look right that means he was blinded by a spotlight before he was shot. Y'all sound like a bunch of house wives.

As Hogwild pointed out, the original pics will have an imbedded time stamp. I'm not skeptical of every big buck killed, but its not hard to believe a big buck was poached in Al either.
I hope he gets caught, or sets the record straight and proves his innocence. This thread needs closure

No doubt whatsoever as to which one is the 'fresh kill' pic.

IF that is a hole in the throat patch, is it possible for a deer to run far enough to not be found for several hours? I wouldn't think so. Seems like that shot is either a flesh wound, or he's squirting blood ALL OVER the place and dies quickly, or its bang flop due to severing the spinal cord.

I don't know what time of day the deer was shot, but the night picture seems to be of a fresh killed deer. The daytime picture is ....... not........

So let me get this straight. The pic of him in the truck with the deer is Wed morning after the recovery? The picture at night is the picture of him with the deer the wed night of recovery? Is this the mans story?

I think one of the original stories that one of his friends posted on here was that the deer was shot in the afternoon and not recovered until the next morning (neck shot), then road around all day in the rain taking pictures and entering contests, then one last night time picture before the taxidermist. Then a few days later, even his buddy said he had been given conflicting stories about the kill and declined to continue to support the hunter.

After looking at the 2 pics its obvious the deer was killed just prior to the night pic and layed in the bed of the truck and got wet overnight.I say he shot the deer spotlighting a well known field for a lotta deer at night then took the daytime pic with his camo on just to have a daytime pic for the naysayers. Now this is all speculation and is only my opinion. From hearing people's take on it that knows the guy I would be willing to bet a pretty hefty paycheck on my theory though.

If he did kill it illegally, whats gonna happen is the state of AL gonna write a thank you note to aldeer.com, or is a bunch of aldeer members gonna get the power trip of feeling like a game warden if only just for a minute.
