Bmartin, I think you will find "most" here adore our women and treat them like queens. I for one am man enough to will admit Im whooped and hate spending a night away from mine. Its not because she rules over me or bosses me around, its a mutual respect/partnership, she feels the same way. However, with that said this is a place we come to act like we are tough, run the house, every woman's dream and dont need females. You gotta take it with a grain of salt. After all, this is the internet...everybody is a bada$$.

after my wife died a couple years ago I don't give crap to nobody. Losing someone that was special to me gave me a whole new outlook and perspective on life. While I might be relatively young compared to most folks on this site, I am wise beyond my years.. Losing someone makes you grow up quick! I have a beautiful step-daughter that calls me more than my blood children do and she knows she can talk to me about "ANYTHING" and has done so.. and I can only hope it will continue after she gets hitched next month (which can't come soon enough I might add) so if you ever have a question, don't look for not wise cracks from me... Good luck with all these yahoo's! It's a blast around this place and I have sat at my desk for hours and laughed at some of the stuff these guys have said on this site.. sit back, relax and enjoy the ride..

Thanks deerslayer. I'm so sorry about your wife. I couldn't imagine losing my husband. When you think about stuff like that, it really does make you think and puts a spin on reality.

Why is it some men on here can't handle a female opinion? Everytime I get on here to enjoy like everybody else, I always have to defend myself and it's getting annoying. Most can't handle any opinion that is different from theirs.On top of that you will have immature attitudes to deal with.I see most of these men on the forums talking to each other like they were still 15 year old boys.Neither their intellect nor sense of humor has changed since their adolescence.You are just going to need thick skin if you want to stick around. Now,having insulted so many,I will say that for the most part you would be treated much better in person by any of the worst offenders here.It's just the consequence of internet communication that causes men to revert to boys.
