The logic is very simple...your greenfields are used as DESTINATION fields and FOOD plots..not KILL plots.
It allows you to see more deer. and in particular, your deer will feel much more secure and will feed there daily.
We never kill ANY deer other then MATURE bucks in our green fields.
We ACTUALLY get to kill them as they come out to chase does in BROAD daylight!
I hear so many people complaining about not seeing any deer in their green fields...but thats only after they shot 5 does during the first week of the season. They cant understand that the deer know that you step out there in daylight..you die. Well...deer figure that out pretty quick!
Not shooting does in your greenfields will also allow more deer to bed around them and use them so youll see more deer peroid.
I could never understand shooting does off a greenfield then sitting on them day in and day out watching GRASS GROW and not seeing squat...and then complaining about lack of deer sightings.
