After hundreds of dollars of holsters and lots of trial and error, I've found the very best carry method for myself. it is MUCH cheaper than any other holster I've ever purchased and it is super comfortable. I have a custom high noon holster and a cross breed type iwb that is very nice, but I keep going back to this, and can carry it all day.
I use a uncle mike size three for my kahr and a size 4 for my G26. I wear 1 size larger pants than normal and a heavy, wide belt and let the grip ride on the belt. Most holsters ride a little too high and stick in my side, but this one tucks in nicely. Re-holstering is almost impossible because the uncle mikes collapse, but who cares for CCW.
Maybe this'll help somebody. I'm right handed by the way, but I took this in a mirror.

I believe they're pocket holsters. Can't use the belt clips because they ride higher with them.

What kind of belt is that?

I keep mine in a mikes unless I'm using a paddle holster. Them thangs with stink over time though.

It's a heavy nylon belt I picked up at target or walmart I think. It's certainly not expensive.
I forgot to mention, I also always wear a knock off under armour sleeveless t shirt to keep the gun from rubbing me (even in the summer).

Spend the few extra bucks on a quality belt and see the difference. The one I bought is double bullhide with a kydex liner. Amazed at the weight and stiffness.

I've had the same holster issues and now use the DeSantis Belly Band. I really like it.

Been carrying for 20 yrs and could not agree more.

Try a sticky , they want slide up or down and you can wash them .

I've been carrying my PT111 like this since seeing this thread. The uncle mike's iwb I have has the clip on it, but I've been using it basically this same way so it rides lower. I really like the way it works. I need to get a better belt for everyday use.

I can honestly carry it all day like this, and be comfortable. Never been able to say that in the past. I was hoping somebody would benefit from this.

To each his own but IMHO Uncle Mikes makes 'cheap' holsters and I do not use them.
A Milt Sparks 'Summer Special' rides low, is VERY comfortable to wear all day and keeps your pistol where it belongs until needed. Plus you can easily re-holster your firearm after you finish using it, try that with an Uncle Mikes, it wont happen.

I completely agree, these are some of the cheapest holsters you can buy, that's what makes it so cool that they work so well. I only use them while I'm CC. Re holstering is the least of my concerns if I have to pull it. It is way more comfortable than a crossbreed or a high noon which I paid dearly for. Closest thing to it as far as being comfortable is a bianchi 100. IMO
Each person certainly needs to use what works best for them and what they WILL carry. That's the most important thing, have it with you when you need it.
