I'm willing to bet it was shot out on county road 99 with a spot light by the conveyors that run from #7 mines to #5 mines.

I grew up in brookwood and know what goes on and hunt out that road. Was you with him? Was Shane with him?

I have hunted here for several years and have taken many nice bucks there myself including a 171" 14 point. I would like to see a picture of your deer as well.  Congrats to him for knocking down a stud! Sad a guy can't kill a deer with out being accused of high fence, corn or spot lighting!

Well you cant "let it go" now. I dont have a dog in the fight, but if you are going to imply he killed the deer illegally just go ahead and say it. If you dont know one way or the other then why tarnish the guy by shedding a negative light on his buck?

Brett, actually you didn't let it go at that. You came right out and insinuated this deer was killed illegally. I'm not saying you aren't telling the truth but you put the initial comment out there and the damage is done. If he poached the deer he deserves to be exposed. If not then he deserves an apology.
