a buddy of mine was told it was killed near brookwood. not sure how much truth is in that but the pic was taken outside of simmons...

Looks like the same buck I saw in another picture last night. If so, it was taken somewhere around Brookwood in Tuscaloosa County.

Thanks guys. I've hunted in a club in Brookwood a few years ago but never saw anything like that. A guy from the club I was in killed a 11 point doe (gender confused deer) in velvet though.

Was killed in Brookwood(Tuscaloosa Co.) on the morning of 1/30/13. Great looking deer! Right around 170" as mentioned above.

That pic was taken in simmons parking lot. I sorta know the guy by playing volleyball at a sand bar below lock 17 close to rocky branch. He is from the brookwood area so i'd say its legit from that area.

Couldn't be Jan. 30th - theres snow in the woods behind him. Does look like Alabama woods however. Have to be the 17th or 18th of January.

Deer was killed by Tyler Burrows in Brookwood. It was taken legally and there are alot of rumors going around about it. The guy that keeps saying there is snow in the background in every forum must be blind. Those are rocks on the top of the hill. The deer gross scored 174. I will be happy to clear anything up about this deer.
