The doe with the broken leg just came out and I shot her at about 35 yds. She was pitiful. Her front left leg is broken at her elbow/knee and she is skin and bones. I've watched her numerous times all year and she was very healthy til her leg got broken

My buddy is hunting at "the barn" this afternoon and he shot about 5:15. He killed a doe too...he's seen around 20 deer and still has 13 in the field (with the dead one laying in the field)

5 hunters hunted today on our place in Macon County... 0 deer seen! I do thank the good Lord for allowing me to enjoy his creations for another year. Another thanks to the guys I hunt with...I am proud to be associated with them. Time to get ready for some burning and cutting, moving stands, crank up the cameras to see which ones are left and start some supplemental feeding.

Saw three bucks between 8:30-12,a nice six with a doe,a small six or eight with a doe,then a small six or eight by himself,didn't hunt this afternoon,glad it's over

Congrats...what county are y'all hunting in? Winston My doe weighed 90 lbs and my buddy's weighed 142 lbs  My doe's broken leg was due to a recent gunshot wound. It wasn't even scabbed over yet

142 pounds is a big doe.Congrats. Yep, she was a bruiser...My Dad killed one last year that weighed 152. I guess our RR corn and year-round foodplots are paying off

After hunting every Friday,Saturday and Sunday(except Thanksgiving weekend) and a few more days since 10-15 I thought I had closed out my season last Sunday. But I got the Jones and went back to hunt the last day and scored a nice 188lb 9pt. I guess it ain't over till its over!
