The only idiotic statement I've read throughout this entire post is you taking someone's hunt summary consisting of a few sentences and assuming you know all the visual details that occured within a 2 hours hunt.

I killed a 10 point a couple years ago that was walking through a cutover and all I could see was it's head, neck and barely make out its back line (no vitals visible but without a doubt a deer). I guess I should be arrested and have my kids taken from me because that could have been an innocent child in a buck costume marching through a cutover in the middle of our lease 10+ miles from any roads or adjacent property.
