If he has air vents could they put sleeping gas in it and put them both asleep then break in some how. May be built well enough you can't break in. They'd have to know the cubic foot area they are trying to saturate, ventilation rate(if it's vented) and get the mix just right. This was tried in Chechnya and they killed everybody inside by using too much gas. Praying for the child and his family.
