another reason we as bus drivers and teachers should be able to tote. we expect our money at the bank to be protected but we cant protect our kids at school.
With the way things are going with schools and such I think I'd have to really consider carrying a concealed firearm of some sort, job be damned. I'd happily lose my job 100 times over to be able to save a single child from one of these lunatics.
You have to look at the situation like the passengers on Flight 77 looked at their siutation when flying over rural PA headed for DC. At the point the wolf shows up, you're already considered to be dead, so you might as well do what you can to defend yourself and others. Fighting back is the ONLY way you have an opportunity to alter the plans of the deranged.
