another reason we as bus drivers and teachers should be able to tote. we expect our money at the bank to be protected but we cant protect our kids at school. With the way things are going with schools and such I think I'd have to really consider carrying a concealed firearm of some sort, job be damned. I'd happily lose my job 100 times over to be able to save a single child from one of these lunatics. You have to look at the situation like the passengers on Flight 77 looked at their siutation when flying over rural PA headed for DC. At the point the wolf shows up, you're already considered to be dead, so you might as well do what you can to defend yourself and others. Fighting back is the ONLY way you have an opportunity to alter the plans of the deranged.

Sorry, it was Flight 93 in PA. Flight 77 was the one that hit the Pentagon.
Another prayer sent for the child, his family, the bus driver's family, the LEOs involved, and for the Holy Spirt to move upon the kidnapper's heart to let this end peacefully without injuring that little boy anymore than he already has been.

This guy is still holed up in the bunker with this autistic child named Ethan. What is wrong with folks like this?? We all know after this situation is finally over that people wiill be screaming for more gun control, before they even think about, how this situation would have been different had the bus driver been carrying?? First things first they need to get this guy out of there and Ethan back to his family. Prayers sent.

Man, my autistic son goes to school with another autistic kid named Ethan. I know it's not him but I can hardly stand knowing that some psycho has some special needs child like my Tyler or Ethan held in a small pit in the ground. I don't know what to do, but I have no problem with taking this guy out at first opportunity without hurting Ethan. Whatever it takes, end it for Ethan and his family.

Problem with that is they don't know what kind of a situation he's put the boy in. He may have him booby trapped or the entire shelter rigged to explode. He also could shoot the kid the very second he gets a whiff of something in the air.

They'd have to know the cubic foot area they are trying to saturate, ventilation rate(if it's vented) and get the mix just right. This was tried in Chechnya and they killed everybody inside by using too much gas. Praying for the child and his family.
