I'm back on my power line. I saw a bigg'un just across the road from this spot in a cotton field yesterday. I'm hoping he crossed on to our side because he was headed this way.

Lol. He shot it at 6:35am on a small logging rd in some thick pines and with cloud cover it looks a lil dark.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

Only got to hunt the mornin. Got a flat on my trailer and my spare is at the house. Spent 3 hours looking for a 14" tire

20 seconds after my son shot, my other son who was inanother field about 500 yds from us, shot.
He said it was the biggest buck he had ever seen. No blood or indication he hit it, but we will look harder in the morning. Fingers crossed that he either clean missed or we find him.

I had to go back to work tonight but I just got a call that one of the kids in our club killed a stud eight point.

I ended up seeing a few bucks and several does, one big buck came out for about a minute then back in the thick stuff. The young bucks pushed the does some then ended up eating with them.

Slippin where u in Baldwin county? In between Stockton and whitehouse forks. I hunt a place once in a blue moon on Majors creek on hwy 59 a buddy of mine owns though

Hunted Roxana yesterday from 6-12...got SKUNKED! Spent a few hours each in various locations. Couldn't even bump one in their normal bedding area! I they got teleported to another part of the state!
