Shouldn't affect me since I hunt central. I say go for it if the proof is there to need the extension. I grew up hunting extreme south MS. They have since extended their season as well.
What I am more concerned with is the tele check system. I really hope they get that to pass. Sure, some people will moan and complain that it is too much of a hassle to deal with and they aren't gonna do it. However, it is these same folks that complain about the regs or lack thereof. The state is trying to make head way but need info for areas to make effective decisions. The tele check is one way to get info and more "accurate" data on what is being killed
