Dad and I got up late and dragged into the stand about 0645 and he had a 6 point on the ground by 0700. He shot as I was putting on my safety harness to climb a pine on the side of a clearcut, at 0750 an 11 point came cruising through and I shot him at about 50yds. He ran 50yds and piled up, my best dear to date. dad had back surgery in early Dec, fused two discs together and he is getting aound pretty good. Its nice to enjoy our time together hunting and being sportsman. By the way that 6 pt was the first one he's killed in 12 years, he thought it was bigger but I'm proud he got to shoot.
