I was an outfitter in South Carolina. Great management practices and grew really big bucks. Had their best river system for miles..that was known for great deer. We were spending over $30,000 a year for our land and lodge.
Customers paid us high dollar to come hunt big bucks...especially in the first 2 weeks if the season for our VELVET bucks. We operated for years with no problem. After a while apiece of property next to us went up for sale. A few thousand acres. Next thing we know a dog club buys 100 acres...just a thin strip from the road all the way to the river. They built a club house...some kennels..and started numbering trees along our border on a road they put in.
I was worried about them dumping dogs on us so we met the owner...who guaranteed us they wouldnt run dogs on us.

Opening day..they unloaded them and IMMEDIATELY dumped them on us!

Ruined our whole business. Customers would be BS and demand refunds, our deer sightings and harvest went WAY down. When you practice LOW IMPACT LOW PRESSURE hunting...dogs running thru every day is not good. And if you think dogs dont disturb deer..well thats your OPINION!

But I KNOW they do, especially in low impact hunting. We SAW the results first hand.
And its the dont give a darn attitude about others that makes me sick.
