Here's a question...........I know several dog hunters and I know my opinion on this question. What do dog hunters do with dogs they have that won't run deer??
Most I know shoot them, or turn them loose and leave them somewhere. They don't feed them year-round I can assure you. I've actually known these guys to take the collars off other people's hunting dogs, put their collars on them, and hunt them like they owned them. Dog hunters around here are their own worst enemy.
