Im not a dog hunter but I don't agree with fellow hunters adding fuel to the fire for taking rights away from hunters. There are just as many tresspassing still hunters as tresspassing doggers. But no one here is saying ban still hunting because of the bad still hunters, because that would put an end to the way you hunt.
Im sure a few here would be singing a different tune if your family pet steped in your nieghbors yard and caught a 12 guage slug in the dome.
I don't want to see dog hunting banned. I would like to see some penalties for the dog owners for their negligence, just like there are penalties to still hunters for poaching/trespassing. I had a neighbor shoot my dog (best friend of six years at the time). So, it would be difficult if not impossible for me to shoot someone's dog, but I sure as hell understand why others would.
