so IF you have a gun on sale in the classifieds, will you need to have it sold before he signs these EOs No, I don't think so. The universal background check is something he wants congress to pass. it is not an EO.

We know what the EO's are, absolutely nothing. This is all smoke and mirrors. He is going ask this person to do this, and ask that group to do this, and ask LEO's to enforse the laws we already have...blah blah blah. When we need to get scared is when there is legislation that won't pass and the cram it through in the middle of the night like Obamacare.

I'd like to read the actual text of them..Don't trust anything but the actual order.
"The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever." Isaiah 40:8
"Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt. Samuel Adams

Who wants to bet that all the Obama (DEM) media groups stop covering gun related crimes after today?

pressure on guns and ammo will wain quite a bit now that the presser is over. I'd expect prices to return to 120% or so of the pre-frenzy retail within a week or two, as availability increases and demand falls off. You only have just so many people that are willing and able to pay 200% to 300% for a gun or bullet before you run out of fools with money.
With that said, once supplies come back and this quiets down, it will be time THEN to stock up for WHATEVER the future may hold.

Be very careful of what you post online or say to people.
All the mental health reporting and studies can be used to declare God-Loving Constitutionalist Gun Owners as Mentally Unstable, which would then deny you the right to own them.
Be very very careful.

Bottom line, the assault weapons ban isn't going to happen nor the high capacity magazines.
Universal background checks, I can see that passing.
I did see, where one of his EO noted that doctors will have the right to ask you if there is a gun in your house. THIS, is where you need to walk on egg shells. ONE stroke of the pen by a liberal doctor and you will no longer be able to own or purchase a firearm. So when the doctor asks if you have a firearm "Go Phuck Yourself" while it would be a good answer, it isn't something you will need to say.
If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.

I put off doing what I wanted to do until the spring. Coudl kick myself now though. 20% price increase is really a "stupid" tax for me for waiting. I'll gladly pay it. 6 months same as cash at Mark's...here I come! Time to dust off my account. Wish list: 2 Ruger 10/22 or....one 10/22 and one SR-22 Rifle 223/5.56 Rifle...If I find a good deal I'll get it. Remington 7615 Police pump rifle in .308 or .223 Ruger New Blackhawk Convertible .357 Mag/9mm Luger Dedicated Home Defense Shotgun 1911 of some make/model Pocket 380/9mm Ammo: Min 1000 rounds FMJ and 1000 rounds HP for both the 9mm and .308 I already own and the same any other calibers I may get. Gun Safe: Big one.

Universal Background checks...we could all probably live with/survive a required background check for private party selling/buying. HOWEVER---------This is step #1 of gun registration and taxing and tracking. Fed requiring background checks and registration (eventually) intrastate?
Plus there could be an obvious challenges on the Commerce Clause, because what business do the Feds have on dealing with transactions inside of a state of the republic? Intrastate..stay out of it. Interstate...ok.

Be very very careful. Dead on Chem. The simplest thing will be used to deny you a gun and it will take weeks if not months to get the approval.

The universal checks is about as enforceable as our 3 buck limit.
If Im selling a gun to you and you give me cash noone will ever be able to know if it was pre/post the date of the "check law". Its Stupid.
