I had a piece of property behind a subdivision a while back and got a call from an asst. D.a. that he knew I had shot his black lab the evening before. I told him I was in south al. With abt 5 people and they could verify my where abouts and he ran thru a laundry list ( no clue if it was b.s.or not) of charges I would face. No clue if they would stick or not but it would have scared the crapout of me if I had done something.
