Hunted in the off and on rain at Wheeler Saturday morning. I took my crossbow this time because I have feather fletchings on my compound which don't do well in the rain. Nothing seen Saturday morning, but I shot a buck last weekend on the family land in Blount Co. and I'm headed back down to Monroe Co. Friday-Sunday and I always see plenty of deer down there. Good luck the rut should be peaking if it isn't already over on Wheeler.
