They are not rutting at all, hunted all week in Audulsia. Killed 90lb doe and nobody was following her so down she went!! Some scrapes around but not chasing at all! Saw one buck and several does and lots of mosquitoes!

I dont shoot them at all. In my area we had hardly any deer when I first got my property. My neighbors and I hardly saw a deer then.We all do not shoot does and now we not only have a huntable population but see deer almost every time we sit. We see equal amount of bucks and does...and we shoot very nice mature deer.
We see deer on our food plots and deer walking around at ALL times. I believe PRESSURE is the NUMBER ONE factor affecting deer movement. When your deer are pressured into being nocturnal..you dont EVER see them.
Ive hunted clubs with great land with a ton of deer, where I got great bucks pictures all pre season. But as soon as the first week was over and every deer that stepped into a food plot was immediately killed...you couldnt BUY a deer sighting there!
The deer were pressured into the thick cover and they stayed there.
Everyone was complaining about their lack of deer sightings. They just couldnt figure why they just werent seeing any deer!
I like low pressure..low impact hunting,..I like seeing deer acting normal..not scared senseless. I also like to hunt RELAXED deer...not jumpy skittish ones.
Because of that..I get to shoot one or two wall hangers..EVERY YEAR

You people are way too paranoid. We kill does on plots, off plots, in the pasture, in the woods, and anywhere in between. We STILL kill great bucks. On numerous occasions I have killed a doe in the rut and killed a buck several minutes later. DOOM AND GLOOM hunters.  A dead, hot doe within sight of your tree right now is better than 600 lbs of corn. I agree but not on large, secluded plots. We have a large plot that is surrounded by hardwood cut over. For several years we shot every doe that stepped out, all season long. NEVER saw even an above average buck in it in daylight. Got to where it was hard to see does as well. A couple years ago we began only shooting does off it in bow season and first week of gun season. Then after first week of gun season, very limited hunting on it and bucks only. This year my son killed his best ever off it and I saw 2 nearly big/old enough to shoot. I like to shoot does early and jump around, taking a few from several different areas.

Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.

shooting does in the rut doesn't typically negatively impact buck sightings. They lose their minds. Gun shots have a bad rep for being the culprit to no deer sightings. It isn't shooting. It is human pressure and presence. I can agree with that. I had a kid miss a doe twice on a food plot a few years ago before he finally got her on the third shot.All she did was pick her head up and look around on the first two shots.  The buck I shot the other day crossing a road had another buck with him that walked right across the road about a minute after I shot his buddy....In my case it is presence.

Bigt, I know things are different on different properties, populations , etc. I've worked with landowners in two states. I hunt managed and unmanaged lands. In your case it could be population. But regardless of the population shooting does isn't running off your bucks. i think it's how u kill does that make the difference . you cant let a green field fill up with deer waiting on a buck to show then at the last light kill a doe . when i set green fields i kill the first doe i see or none at all . only educate the ones you kill . lol
