Im currently stationed in california but will be coming home 16 Jan 13 for two week. Just wanting to know if yall have any updates on russel and tallapoosa county rut, deer movement, and just overall hunting. Well yall thanks for any info yall can update me on.

Still a little slow in Tallapoosa but picking up a little. Around the 16th it should be game on.

I hunt about 2 miles from the Tallapoosa line in Chambers county and have seen several fresh scrapes since Christmas day but no sign of any chasing. I think you are 2 to 3 weeks away from the heat of the action.

Small bucks are chasing hard around the Hurtsboro area in Russell County. Saw several bucks this past weekend and 2 really good bucks cruising in that area.

Well them deer need to get on the stick, I'm flying out in 13 days. Hope everybody waiting for the rut sees a biggun. And thanks for the updates guy, it sucks being station in California. Missin bama everyday, but even more during hunting season.
