Thanks for the recommendations. I have a sportdog collar with the beeping feature in addition to the shock. I may try that under the right circumstances. I have pulled the turn and running away from him and turning my back one to many times and he has that figured out...you are right thoufh, at first he would follow me but now it would take at least 10 minutes of me ignoring him before he gives up. I also have used the long rope dove hunting but it's such a hassel keeping it from tangling in the field along with everything else. I am going to do some reading on collar conditioning and see if I can do it in a way not to associate it with his electric fence. I am taking him duck hunting in Ms this weekend for his first flooded field duck hunt so it should be interesting. Not sure if I should put the collar on him and just use the beeping to see how he reacts..I know I will be tempted to pop him when he hauls ass with a duck though.
