I have 12. Some are skull mounts the rest are shoulder mounts.
They are not all big racked. I bow shot a basket 7pt several years ago in full velvet and skull mounted it....it's one of my favorite.

4 shoulder mounts, 5 skull mounts and a few with the antlers just sawed off

Garbo it is good to see you post somewhere that I get on. I enjoyed your post at some other sites that you scaled back on.
I have one Shoulder mounted and honestly probably will not mount another one. If it is big thenjust a skull mount I imagine if anything.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
My phone screen does not always work right, usually a lot of misspelled words....

I have 3 shoulder mounts and my wife has 1.I also have 3 skull mounts and a fox mounted.Killed a big bobcat few years ago and wanted it mounted laying on my mantle but the ole 7mag done to much damage to him.Got a big fox squirrel in the freezer.Waiting till I kill another bobcat or a red fox then I'm gonna mount the squirrel with it.

3 shoulder in the house. I take all the others and nail them on a board inside my small shop outside. I have bowkills on one side and rifle on the other. I keep all my antlers no matter the size.

I think there is a total of 8 of my deer mounted,but I do not have a single one of them.they are spred out all over Alabama,and Tennessee

My son has two on the fireplace that are shoulder mounted and two in his bedroom that are shoulder mounted. There are 8 more shoulder mounts upstairs between the two of us. There are 4 in the freezer now waiting to be shoulder mounted when son has the time to do it. There are probably 10 European mounts in the house and a Bobcat mounted in my sons bedroom also. I think there are about 10 turkey fans mounted with feet and beards throughout the house and shop. We simply don't shoot unless we mount and we shoot too many it looks like!

I've got 4 shoulder mounts and 6 skull mounts. My taxidermist does an awesome skull mount and barn wood plaque. Unless I ever kill one bigger than my best so far, it will probably be skull mounts from here on out. I don't intentionally shoot deer that I just cut the horns off. Makes me sick killing something that will not make a cool looking skull mount. They all mean something to me.
